Range / Site Description: Sea disposal area where 48 ton containers of Lewisite were dumped into water greater than 1,500 feet in depth. 46 tons NCWA total known to have been dumped. Associated Munitions: CWA - Lewisite ton containers. Activities Completed: Archive search of records. DoD has only released minimal data on the site in the Annual Reports to Congress. Issues: Other Information: No cleanup or assessment planned. |
