Man Uses Wheelbarrow to Bring UXO to Church

Youngstown, Ohio  A worker from a construction company hired by St. Patrick Church found a UXO item at a nearby abandoned property he was clearing that was recently acquired by the church. The UXO was found under a collapsed garage from the abandoned building lot on Oak Hill Avenue.

Upon finding the UXO, the construction worker unwisely decided upon himself to place the item in a wheelbarrow and bring it to the Church. When the church pastor saw the UXO in the wheelbarrow, he immediately called the police. The police and the Youngstown Bomb Squad responded and took the item away. Authorities did not release the type of UXO found. An investigation is underway to determine how the UXO ended up at the abandoned property in the first place.
