WWII Era UXO Found in Landfill

Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada workers at the Crane Mountain landfill routinely screen garbage and debris as it is processed. During the screening process, workers noticed a bag of garbage that seemed suspicious. After investigating further, workers found two WWII era munitions inside including one live grenade. Workers called the police who responded with support from a Canadian military EOD unit. The EOD unit safely removed the munitions from the site without incident.
