The challenge? Extracting unexploded ordnance and munitions safely from the environment, and disposing of them with minimum human health exposure. Our Munitions Response Consultant jobs provide you with an opportunity to provide project level support for multiple Munitions Response (MR) projects primarily across Canada, but may also support programs in the U.S. and abroad. CH2M HILL looks for highly motivated, results-oriented employees. Each day, you will be the face of CH2M HILL as you develop strategies, execute projects, interact with regulators, related to MR issues, and provide technical direction to project staff and subcontractor teams.

You should be an independent, highly-motivated team player with 15 plus years of MR experience, which may be a combination of active duty military EOD and contractor MR Experience; a graduate of a military EOD school and a PE or PG is desirable; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each MR job.

CH2M Hill's Munitions Response Consultants:

  • Work in close coordination with Canadian Region Environmental Services staff and the Canadian Region Munitions Response Market Segment Leader; Global Munitions Response Market Segment Director; and Global Munitions Response Operations Director and Global Munitions Response Safety/QC Manager to develop and execute MR project plans.
  • Review plans and reports for MR projects and complete or otherwise ensure appropriate senior MR technical review on these plans and reports.
  • Are the liaisons with client representatives, other federal and local government personnel for MR projects.
  • Review and ensure consistency and compliance within work plans and performance goals relating to MR projects.
  • Work closely with the CH2M HILL Global Munitions Response market segment to ensure Munitions Response pursuits and project delivery are consistent with firm-wide practices.
  • Support business development pursuits for Munitions Response and other federal opportunities for various projects/contracts.
  • Assist in identifying personnel to support project execution.
  • Participate in the exchange of information with other project managers regarding evolving practice on MR projects.

Background Investigation (BI) for a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is required for an "Employee Possessor of Explosives." Drug testing is also required.
