WWII Era UXO Found At Museum

Cambridge, United Kingdom Authorities had to evacuate the Duxford Imperial War Museum after contractors resurfacing the roads at the museum discovered a WWII era bomb. The police responded to the find along with technical support from a nearby EOD team. EOD identified the item as a WWII era British 10lbs practice bomb. The museum grounds were once a Royal Air Force Station, which explains why the bomb was on site. EOD safely removed the bomb and the museum was reopened the same day.
