Senior Geophysicist Wanted
Location - Denver, CO / Houston, TX / Concord, CA
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Senior Geophysicist with applied experience in the use of geophysical techniques particularly in munitions investigation/MMRP and environmental remediation projects.
- This position will provide leadership to a geophysics group across the US.
- Interface with internal clients and external clients.
- Estimates, project scoping, scheduling, and field project execution.
- Be familiar and keep group aware and ahead of technology advances in the field of applied geophysics.
Qualifications:
- Ability to recommend a variety of geophysical techniques including, but not limited to, magnetics, electromagnetics, resistivity, ground penetrating radar, and seismic.
- Experience working on Military Munitions Response Projects (MMRP).
- UXO experience.
- Provide leadership to a group of geophysicists including; scheduling, monitoring deliverables, overall professional development, and mentoring.
- Present at professional society conferences/symposiums on behalf of the company.
- Master of Science Degree in Geophysics from an accredited university; professional registration required.
- Minimum 15 years of direct experience in utilizing geophysical techniques in support of environmental engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Expert with Geosoft software package.
