Contract Manager Opportunity

CONTRACT MANAGER OPPORTUNITY
Locations:(2 Positions-Southern California/Western Florida)

The individual will be responsible for supervising and participating in the preparation of proposals, negotiation of contracts, and administration of commercial and government contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• The qualified candidate must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A minimum of 5 years contracting and management experience required; a Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience is necessary.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills needed.
• Must be able to work well with others and interface with vendors, customers, corporate employees and project personnel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential; individual must be able to multi-task and remain calm while working under pressure. Prior experience working with government contracts strongly desired.
• Federal Contracting, knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and/or experience with Defense Contracts are a plus.
