British EOD Solider Killed In Action

Afghanistan According the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence (MOD) official website, a soldier attached to the Joint Force EOD Group, part of the Counter-IED Task Force, and was killed in a small arms fire engagement with insurgent forces in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province. The name of the EOD soldier has not been released as the family has reportedly asked for a period of grace before further details are released.
