EOD Airman Killed In Action

Kandahar, Afghanistan Tech. Sgt. Kristoff M. Solesbee of the 775th EOD Flight based out of Hill Air force Base died as a result of injuries sustained during combat operations. Details of the incident are under investigation but reportedly the 32 year old airman was responding to a find of a munitions cache when his unit was attacked. Solesbee on his second combat tour since being stationed at Hill Air Force in 2008 had been in Afghanistan since January. He is survived by his wife.
