Plan to attend the Second International Dialogue on Underwater Munitions - Addressing Assessment, Characterization, Management and Communication of Risk in Chemical and Conventional Munitions, Worldwide.

This global forum for underwater munitions exchange will address the topics of underwater technology and best practices; assessments of underwater sites and updates on progress and findings; and research from academia and policy experts on information directly relevant to underwater science and the future. Canadian DND UXO Forum


The Fourth Annual Canadian DND UXO Forum hosted by the Department of National Defence UXO and Legacy Sites Program will be held in Quebec City, Canada from May 12 to 14, 2009.

Plenary sessions and panel discussions, revolving around this year's theme "Leveraging Technology to Safeguard the Public", will focus on the technologies, processes, procedures, and communications that support the UXO industry.

Munitions Meeting Baltimore SAME Post

Huntsville Centers Industry Day for Small Businesses

Call For Papers -UXO Special Issue of the JEEG

The Journal of Environmental and Engineering Geophysics (JEEG) announces a Call for Papers for a special issue on UXO. The UXO issue is scheduled for publication in September 2008. The special issue editor is Mr. José Llopis, U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center. The SERDP/ESTCP office has graciously agreed to sponsor the issue.

Partners in Environmental Technology Technical Symposium & Workshop, "Meeting DoD's Environmental Challenges," will be held December 4-6, 2007, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington, D.C. During the Symposium, more than 350 posters will be on display to facilitate technology transfer among the more than 1,000 attendees. A limited number of spaces are available to display poster presentations of technologies that relate to the Symposium & Workshop technical session topics.
