Coastguard Warns Beachgoers of UXO Threats

Mablethorpe, England Mablethorpe Coastguard issued a warning for beachgoers on the Lincolnshire coast. According to their social media post, UXO was recently found, prompting a response from a military EOD response which included a controlled disposal shot on Mablethorpe beach.

The Coastguard statement reminded people that bad weather and high tides can expose dangerous objects, including ordnance. A spokesperson said, "Never touch or move unexploded ordnance. Call to 999 and ask for the Coastguard."
