Multiple UXO Detonated Following Discovery on Beach

Holme-Next-The-Sea, United Kingdom Local coastguard units and an EOD team responded to a report of a suspected munition at a coastal beach.

EOD secured the scene and, while conducting a sweep of the waterline and surrounding shoreline, identified several additional pieces of UXO. EOD personnel established a strict safety cordon and successfully neutralized the hazards by executing two controlled detonations on the beach.

Officials issued a reminder that anyone encountering suspected UXO along the coast should immediately retreat and contact local emergency services rather than attempting to handle the items.
