Suffolk Beach, United Kingdom Police officer were called to respond to a call from a civilian walking the beach concerning a potential UXO find. Police inspected the item and notified an EOD unit from Colchester for assistance.

Sandwich Bay, United Kingdom HM Coast Guard and Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) EOD personnel responded to reports of ordnance finds along the beach. An exclusion zone was established around the items as teams prepared for demo operations.

Mexico Beach, Florida Tyndall Air Force Base EOD responded to the Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe area for a corroded cluster of suspect WWII-era ordnance that washed ashore. The items were heavily corroded and an attempted demolition / disposal had to be rescheduled when the initial detonation failed due to the rising high tide.

Plovdiv , Bulgaria A corroded UXO was discovered on the riverbed of the Maritsa near Plovdiv. The 91st Engineer Battalion for General Maintenance - Plovdiv has identified the item as a 37 mm artillery shell. The item was safely removed and transported to a secure location for disposal according to the press office of the Ministry of Defense.

Scottish Coast 18 UXO items were found during a survey of the Moray East Offshore Windfarm project including 15 UXO in the North Sea windfarm site itself and another three found in the corridor leading to shore. A Dutch firm involved in laying the cabling for the project will reportedly assist with the UXO either through removal or offshore disposal. The development, due to begin construction in 2021, is expected to power more than 950,00 homes.

Piscataqua, New Hampshire The Coast Guard warned boaters and divers to stay away from an area known as Hart's Cove after a diver reported seeing a UXO item. The Coast Guard has also notified the New Hampshire Division of Ports and Harbors to assist in re-routing maritime traffic to avoid that area until EOD responds to investigate.

Shetland, United Kingdom A cache of ammunition was recovered from the seabed by a diver near Sellaness. The ammunition is suspected to be from a Naval warship and appears to have been in the water for long time due to the deteriorated condition. The exact quantity or types of ammunition was not reported.

Kua Bay, Big Island Hawaii Officials from the Kekaha Kai State Park were called to investigate a suspicious looking object found in the shallow water. The object, shown below was approximately two feet in diameter and weighed 150 pounds.

Due to the history of UXO in the area, the area was closed to surfers and Navy EOD was called to investigate.

Munda, Solomon Islands New Zealand's Royal Navy is providing two ships to support a partnership between New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the U.S. to clear sea disposed munitions from around Sasavelle Island. The UXO clearance is being conducted in support of the Pacific Partnership mission. Forty UXO specialists are reportedly scheduled to support the clearance which is scheduled to commence this week. The clearance operation is scheduled to conclude by the July 4th holiday.

Zygi, Cyprus The Cyprus Government has asked Greece and Israel for assistance in addressing underwater munitions dumped of the coast of Zygi, a fishing village located in the south. Following an environmental assessment requested by the United Nations, a report shows that the Cypriot National Guard dumped about 167 types of munitions in the sea in large quantities between 1980 and 1993. The request came from Cyprus' Defense Minister Fotis Fotiou and was based upon concerns over explosives safety and environmental hazards. Reports indicate thet the Defense Minister also plans to seek assistance from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
