| The body is of a single-piece forged, machined construction, with a pointed nose, parallel sides, and a slightly boat tailed base. It is drilled and tapped at the various required points for the attachment of suspension and hoisting lugs, guide key, trunnions, and the British single-suspension lugs. There are no bands, locating holes, or groves on these bombs. The bomb contains approximately 216 pounds of explosive D. |
