| This bomb originated as a limited standard. It was isssued for training purposes, and later carried in war reserve. It consisted of an explosive filled bomb body, fin assembly, suspension lug, adapter booster and MK XH fuze. The explosive till for American made bombs consisted of TNT, whereas British made bombs contained an amatol mix. The American pack consisted of four bombs to a box, the British pack consisted of one bomb per box. This item was also referred to as the "Cooper bomb". |
