Location: Fort William Henry Harrison, 6,716 acres, is located in Lewis and Clark County, Montana.

Brief History: Fort Harrison was established in 1892. Since 1911, it has served as the major training facility for the Montana Army National Guard (MTARNG). MTARNG personnel have trained and deployed from Fort Harrison for numerous state and federal missions. Today, Fort Harrison is the primary training, maintenance and logistical center for the MTARNG and the Montana Air National Guard and is also used as a training facility for the active component and Army Reserve.

There are 771.21 acres of MMRP area associated with Fort William Harrison. The Army Range Inventory identified two closed ranges/sites and one transferred range/site that were historically used for small arms training and burial pits.
