CWM munitions sea disposal area located approximately 100 miles from Virginia at depths greater than 1,500 feet. Complete site history unknown. |

Range / Site Description: Known munitions sea dumped at the site: Mustard 4.2 inch Mortar Shells - Qty 19,728 for a total NCAW of 64 tons. Associated Munitions: CWM munitions (mustard mortar rounds). Activities Completed: Archive search of records. DoD has only released minimal data on the site in the Annual Reports to Congress. Issues: Other Information: No cleanup or assessment planned. |
