Brief History: History of the underwater munitions disposal site is largely unknown. Reported as 10 miles from shore off Attu Island at a depth of greater than 1,500 feet. |

Range / Site Description: Known items dumped at the site include Lewisite Ton Containers - Qty 887 for a total NCAW of 843 tons and Mustard Ton Containers - Qty 61 for a NCAW of 55 tons. Associated Munitions: CWA Activities Completed: Archive search of records. DoD has only released minimal data on the site in the Annual Reports to Congress. Issues: Other Information: No cleanup or assessment planned. |
