Location: The Camp Lejeune Range Complex is located in eastern North Carolina, approximately 50 miles northeast of Wilmington, 246 miles east of Charlotte, and 120 miles southeast of Raleigh, NC.

Range / Site Description: Size:

Camp Lejeune geographically encompasses the onshore, near shore, and surf areas in and adjacent to complex’s boundaries. The Range Complex encompasses 11 nm of coastline (including 1.4 nm of amphibious landing area and 4 nm of buffer/impact area.

Associated Munitions: All types of ground and air dropped munitions including high explosives. Virtually every munition item in the Marine Corps inventory can be deployed at MCB Camp Lejeune with a few exceptions in the projectile and bomb categories.

Activities Completed: Active range clearance and munitions debris clearance is conducted periodically on certain operational ranges at MCB Camp Lejeune.

Other Information: MCB Camp Lejeune is an operational Marine Corps installation which is not considered a likely candidate for BRAC.
