Environment:

Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Background:

The US Department of Defense is transitioning its environmental remediation program away from traditional contaminants to munitions related environmental liabilities. As a major strategic initiative, AECOM is making investments to further strengthen its capabilities to support this market and our clients. As the managing partner of Resolution Consultants, AECOM has recently won the US Navy Southeast Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action (CLEAN). This contract, together with our current Pacific Division CLEAN and Performance Based Remediation (PERMAC) contract, are the prime vehicles from which AECOM will provide Military Munitions Response (MMR) support to the US Navy.

Position Description:

This senior level position will report directly to AECOM's MMR Program Director and will become an important member of our MMR program team. AECOM's MMR program supports U.S. Government MMRP funded projects across the CONUS and OCONUS geographies under various DOD and agency contract vehicles.

Our US Navy Program Manager will coordinate directly with and through our Navy Program teams to lead and support MMR projects and tasks. As dictated by project backlog, additional project and staff level resources will directly and indirectly report to this position. The US Navy Program Manager will have full access to AECOM's vast resource pool and will be expected to develop employees and business through excellent project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a B.A./B.S., or M.S. degree in geology, engineering, or other natural sciences. Professional registration is preferred (e.g. PE, PG, and PMP)
• 10+ years of industry experience
• Demonstrated Values such as Safety, Quality, and Integrity
• Demonstrated experience managing CERCLA-related MMR projects for the US Navy
• Demonstrated skills leading project teams in delivering superior work products
• Career minded, externally focused, and possesses a strong work ethic
