UXO Found on BLM Lands

Oro Grande, California Recreational ATV riders utilizing property owned by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) came across a UXO item. The riders called police who responded with technical support provided by the Holloman Air Force Base 49th Fighter Wing EOD unit.

The UXO was safely disposed of without incident through open detonation (see image below). The exact type of UXO was not reported.
