Help Wanted Military Munitions Specialist

We are currently seeking the following in our Edgewood, Maryland office.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing engineers and designers with large projects for the development of project specifications, calculations, design basis documents, system studies and construction drawings.
• Provides direction and leadership within the project environment to groups of technical personnel.
• Ensures that project schedules and budgets are achieved as well as the technical accuracy of work product.
• Coordinates with other leaders within the project organization to ensure that multi discipline interfaces are properly addressed.
• Ensures that work is executed in accordance with approved work processes using standard tools which have been adopted by the Company.
• Munitions and explosives of concern (MEC)/munitions constituents (MC) investigation and remediation activities at DOD sites;
• Development of sampling and analysis plans for multiple sites within a program;
• Execution of multiple, concurrent field sampling activities to support those programs;
• Data interpretation; cost estimates for remedial alternatives; treatment technology analysis; report writing; and, preparation of deliverables.
• Travel to project sites and other field activities is required.

Qualifications:
• BS or MS in Engineering.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Good command of English.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must demonstrate adaptability to changing job situations.

• Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance at a government installation.
• Experience with Military Munitions Response Program a plus.
• Current OSHA Hazardous Site Worker training a plus.
