We are currently seeking the following in our Edgewood, Maryland office.
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing engineers and designers with large projects for the development of project specifications, calculations, design basis documents, system studies and construction drawings.
- Provides direction and leadership within the project environment to groups of technical personnel.
- Ensures that project schedules and budgets are achieved as well as the technical accuracy of work product.
- Coordinates with other leaders within the project organization to ensure that multi discipline interfaces are properly addressed.
- Ensures that work is executed in accordance with approved work processes using standard tools which have been adopted by the Company.
- Munitions and explosives of concern (MEC)/munitions constituents (MC) investigation and remediation activities at DOD sites;
- Development of sampling and analysis plans for multiple sites within a program;
- Execution of multiple, concurrent field sampling activities to support those programs;
- Data interpretation; cost estimates for remedial alternatives; treatment technology analysis; report writing; and, preparation of deliverables.
- Travel to project sites and other field activities is required.
- BS or MS in Engineering.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Good command of English.
- Computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must demonstrate adaptability to changing job situations. and a positive work ethic.
- Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance at a government installation.
- Experience with Military Munitions Response Program a plus.
- Current OSHA Hazardous Site Worker training a plus.
Qualifications:
