EOD Sailor Killed in Combat

Northern Afghanistan Petty Officer Second Class Tony Randolph assigned to the Combined Security Transition Command, EOD Mobile Unit 8 died in an IED attack on his convoy. Tony was based out of Sigonella, Sicily but the 22-year-old called Henryetta, Oklahoma is hometown.

Since joining the Navy in 2005, Tony has earned several awards including a Bronze Star with Valor, Purple Heart, and Combat Action Ribbon. Parents and two stepbrothers survive him.
