Experienced SUXOs & UXO QC/Safety Officer Needed
Experience SUXOs & UXO QC/SAFETY OFFICER needed to fill upcoming projects in KSAAP and Waipio, Hawaii.

This position will supervise UXO Technicians and support personnel during the inspection of expended ordnance and bombing range residue to verify presence or absences of energetic materials, surface and subsurface clearance, ordnance avoidance project and other munitions an MEC related work. The SUXOS will interface with CAPE's project management team, Quality Control and Safety & Health Programs.
All candidates must have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Must pass standard CAPE background and drug screens and have the ability to use safety equipment as required. Must pass a standard CAPE pre-employment physical examination or must have passed a physical within the last 12 months and be able to provide a valid copy of work clearance letter. Candidates must possess valid eligibility documentation for work on U.S. military installations.
SUXOs - Minimum fifteen (15) years of combined military EOD and civilian contractor UXO experience in all phases of UXO and UXO related operations. Ten (10) years of experience supervising activities and personnel on ordnance avoidance and investigation, range clearance, hazardous material and waste management project sites. Knowledge of EOD/UXO industry standards. Flexible with the ability to support work plan, task order and proposal development. Good computer skills a plus Knowledge of EOD/UXO industry standards. UXO QC/Safety Officer - Minimum fifteen (15) years military and/or commercial experience in all phases of UXO remediation and applicable safety standards. Must possess Master EOD Technician qualification. Minimum of 10 years of supervisory EOD/UXO experience. Have a proficient understand of the Corps QC requirements and Corps Safety procedures. SACE Quality Control Training and Site Safety Officer Certification. Current 40-Hr. HAZWOPER certification and Site Supervisor certification required. (Please visit our website for more details)
