Five Killed From Explosion In Fireworks Bunker

Honolulu, Hawaii Five workers died following an explosion at an old WWII era bunker in Waikele. The bunkers were being used to store confiscated fireworks. The explosion occurred just before 9 am when six workers from Donaldson Enterprises, the company reportedly hired to destroy the explosives, were in the bunker. The five men who dies ranged in age from 24 to 50. The sixth worker who was in the bunker at the time of the accident sustained minor injuries. The cause of the explosion is unknown.
