Are you looking for an exciting career change? Do you want to earn $23-$25/hour?

The demand for qualified Unexploded Explosive Ordnance (UXO) Technicians by the civilian UXO industry exceeds supply in Canada.

AMEC Environment and Infrastructure and the University of New Brunswick College of Extended Learning have joined forces to deliver entry-level training courses to support the growing civilian UXO industry throughout North America and internationally.

85% of our graduates are employed in the UXO field

After successful completion of the five-week program, you may seek work in Canada or the United States. Graduates of this program, which is accredited by the University of New Brunswick, are recognized by the Department of National Defence (DND) for work on UXO Legacy Sites in Canada and approved to work in the United States by the Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board (DDESB). UNB does not guarantee employment, however our program has experienced very high job placement.
