Burglary Investigation Yields Military Munition Find

Shreveport, Louisiana Police arriving on the scene to investigate a burglary on Shreve City street had to evacuate the area when they found unsecured ammunition and grenades inside one of the homes.

The home owner is reportedly in the military and was out of town at the time. An EOD team from the FBI and the ATF from Fort Polk responded to the scene. The grenades were determined to be live smoke rounds. EOD removed the devices for proper off-site disposal.
