British Army EOD Responds to Grenade at School House

Chesterfield, United Kingdom A British Army EOD unit responded to the Parkside Community School after reports of a hand grenade in the school. The item was brought to school by a young student as a 'show and tell' item. After evacuating the school for safety, EOD determined that the grenade was inert. EOD took custody of the item for proper disposal.
