Geophysicist / Geologist / Engineer / Scientist Wanted
Ordnance Holdings, Inc. (OHI) a Tampa, Florida based unexploded ordnance (UXO) and engineering services company is looking for a munitions response professional to assist / spearhead our DAGCAP certification initiative. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in performing geophysical data processing and analysis for data collected with a variety of DGM and AGC geophysical sensors (e.g., EM61-MK2, MetalMapper2x2, MPV, APEX and UltraTEM).
Experience developing geophysics related sections of work plans and reports for Remedial Investigation and Remedial Action projects is desired. Experience preparing proposals and developing cost estimates related to munitions response a plus. Flexible schedule and work location (remote position with occasional project / proposal travel).
Qualifications:- Minimum 3-5 years of munitions response geophysics work experience.
- Four-year degree in geophysics, geology, engineering, science, or related field (professional registration / accreditation considered a plus).
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required (DoD project work).
- Good written and oral communication skills required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with APEX or EM Class geophysical data processing software.
- Experience with advanced geophysical data collection and processing.
- Experience developing munitions response related plans and technical reports.
- Experience developing proposals and cost estimates considered a plus.
