New photos and images have been added to the UXOInfo.com Photo Gallery including a large set of images extracted from the unclassified Iraq Ordnance ID Guide published by the Navy. The on-line UXO Photo Gallery now has 2,200 images. More images will be added this week that were recently donated to UXOInfo.com by several UXOInfo.com users. If you have any images that you would like to share with the industry, please email them to information@uxoinfo.com

For donations exceeding more than 12 images or for very large files, please contact us for information on how to access our FTP site for donations.

Close to another 100 more photos from the National Archives collection in College Park, Maryland have been uploaded to the UXOInfo.com photo gallery. Included with the upload is a series of images from the 1920's taken at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), Maryland during testing of the 300lbs and 600lbs Demolition Bombs as well as images from white phosphorus munitions testing. Two of the images from the uploaded archives collection are shown below.

Over 150 more munitions related photos have been uploaded to the UXOInfo.com photo gallery. The photo collection came from a UXOInfo.com user who discovered them at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland. The photos include a series of images from the 1920's taken at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), Maryland during testing of the 100lbs Demolition Bombs. Photos include drop tests, rifle impact tests as well as performance testing of the munitions. Other images include cut-aways of munitions components and ice bombing (a future UXOInfo.com article). Several of the images are shown below.

UXOInfo.com recently received another generous donation of archival material including documents and images from a UXOInfo.com user. The material is from the National Archives and is declassified. The donated data will be uploaded to the UXO document and photo library over the next several weeks for all users to view and use. For starters, approximately 50 new photos have been added included a series of historic photos on the 3-inch Anti-Aircraft round and the 75mm Infantry Mortar including some unique test shots taken at APG, MD from the 1920s. A sample of some of the images that have been uploaded so far are shown below.

A new category has been added to the UXOInfo.com UXO Document Library  "Awareness". The "Awareness" category includes a variety of posters, briefings, and presentations on basic UXO Awareness. The collection was put together from various UXO projects across DoD including the Dolly Sods FUDS located in the Monongahela National Forest, West Virginia. 20 documents have been uploaded to the UXO Document Library so far including the Army's Sergeant Woof UXO coloring book shown in the image below.

UXOInfo.com recently received a donation of images taken in Kosovo between 1999-2000. The collection contains over 60 images of U.S. and eastern European munitions. Several of the images have been uploaded to the UXOInfo.com photo library already. UXOInfo.com will work to get the remaining images uploaded to the library over the next week.

UXOInfo.com Website Update -- A series of CWM munitions related images including several images of Chemical Agent Identification Set (CAIS) bottles were added to the UXO Photo Gallery. To view the new images click on the photo gallery link on the menu on the right then select the chemical category.

We have uploaded the first series of UXO images that were donated to us by a UXOInfo.com user who found them at the National Archives in Washington, D.C.
