Construction of Childcare Center Halted by UXO

Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan Navy EOD responded to the construction site for a child-development center in Yokosuka after WWII UXO was uncovered. Area residents were forced to shelter in place until the 25mm anti-aircraft shells were eventually deemed inert by EOD. The area was declared safe and the cordon was lifted.
